Office moves

Office moves that don't cost you a working day.

Office removals across the West Midlands, planned for evenings and weekends so your team locks up on Friday and starts work in the new place on Monday. Downtime is the real cost of a business move, so we plan around it.

  • Out-of-hours as standardFriday night and Sunday moves so trading hours stay trading hours.
  • Desks labelled by personEvery bundle lands at the right desk, so Monday starts at the keyboard.
  • IT and equipment handled carefullyMonitors padded, cables bagged and labelled, printers treated with respect.
  • One contact throughoutThe person who quotes your move is the person you call during it.

How a commercial removal keeps your downtime short

We plan office moves backwards from one question: when do you need to be working again? In February 2025 we moved the Ellis office suite from Cannock to Stafford on a Friday evening, labelled the desk bundles by staff name, and the team walked in on Monday and simply sat down. Their words: that was the miracle.

Filing cabinets travel locked and upright. Desks that will not fit a doorway get dismantled, photographed and rebuilt where they belong, which is how the Patel accountancy move into West Bromwich went in on a Sunday with no fuss, no panic and no missing screws.

Business relocation without the agency lottery

The crew that quotes is the crew that moves you: our own people, trained and fully insured, led by James, who has over 15 years on the vans. For a business that matters twice over, because the van is carrying your livelihood, not just your furniture.

Tight loading bays, booked lifts, building managers with rules: normal. We coordinate the slot, protect the communal areas and keep the neighbours onside. Tell us your constraints when you ask for the quote and they get planned in, not discovered on the day.

What we move in an office relocation

A commercial move is more than desks and chairs, and every part of it travels with the same insured crew. Here is what we handle in an office relocation:

Where the office is bigger, we phase it. Non-critical areas and archives move first, the parts of the business that have to stay live move last or out of hours, and everything lands against a floor plan so each bundle reaches the right desk, room or zone. You keep trading while the move happens around the edges of the working day.

Clearing the old space is part of the same conversation. Surplus furniture can go into secure storage near the M54 for the new fit-out, or be cleared and recycled responsibly, so you hand the old premises back to lease standard without a second supplier to chase.

Everything that travels

  • Desks, chairs and pedestals
  • Filing cabinets, locked and upright
  • Archive boxes, labelled and in order
  • Meeting tables and breakout furniture
  • Kitchen and breakout kit
  • Signage
  • Monitors padded, base units strapped upright
  • Cables bagged and labelled by desk
  • IT, once your team signs it off to travel

Four recent office moves, exactly as they happened

February 2025

Wolverhampton Road, Cannock WS11Mill Street, Stafford ST16

small office suite

The move was planned for a Friday evening so the business could reopen on Monday. One filing cabinet key had vanished, so it was strapped and moved upright with extra care. The team even labelled the desk bundles by staff name.

"We walked in on Monday and could actually work. That was the miracle."

April 2025

Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton WV1Pendeford Business Park WV9

6 desk office

A printer the size of a small fridge nearly became the villain of the day, but careful lifting and a revised route through the side entrance saved the drama. The client supplied pastries, which disappeared at suspicious speed.

"Fast, organised and much calmer than our own staff were."
The Morris family

November 2025

Hagley Road, Dudley DY1High Street, West Bromwich B70

accountancy office

The job had to be done on a Sunday to avoid client disruption. One desk would not fit the new doorway, so it was dismantled, photographed and rebuilt exactly where it needed to go.

"No fuss, no panic, no missing screws. I call that witchcraft."
The Patel family

March 2026

Warwick Road, Solihull B91Corporation Street, Coventry CV1

consulting office

Access at the new office was tight because another contractor had filled the loading bay. The team coordinated a staggered unload and kept the building manager sweet.

"They solved problems before we had finished worrying about them."

Frequently asked questions

Can you move our office over a weekend?

Yes, and most business moves we do work exactly that way. We load Friday evening or Saturday, deliver and set down by Sunday, and your team starts Monday in the new place. We are open 24 hours, so the schedule fits your trading pattern rather than ours.

How do you handle computers and monitors?

Monitors travel in padded wrapping, cables are bagged and labelled by desk, and base units are loaded upright and strapped. If your IT support wants to disconnect and reconnect, we work to their plan; if not, we keep everything grouped so reconnection is simple.

What size of office can you move?

From a small suite to a multi-room office with storage and archives. Tell us headcount, desk count and anything unusual, and the quote comes back with the van and crew plan spelled out.

Are you insured for commercial moves?

Yes, the crew is fully insured for business moves just as for house moves. If your landlord or building manager needs documentation before the move date, ask and we will sort it.

Can you store office furniture or archives between premises?

Yes. Secure container storage near the M54 takes office furniture, equipment and archive boxes, short or long term. Useful when the new lease starts after the old one ends.

How much notice do you need for an office move?

For a small suite a week or two is usually plenty; a larger, phased relocation is easier with a month or more so the out-of-hours slots and any lift or loading-bay bookings line up. We are open 24 hours, so urgent moves can still be planned properly, just with less slack.

Can you move us in phases, department by department?

Yes, and for a working business it is often the sensible way. We move the non-critical areas and archives first and keep the live parts of the office running until the last possible slot, so downtime stays close to zero. The plan is agreed with you before anything is lifted.
