How long packing takes, and the materials we use
A full pack is normally done the day before the move, so moving day starts with loading rather than wrapping. As a rough guide a three-bedroom house is a day for a small team, a four-bed or a house with a lot of china and books a little longer, and a part-pack of just the fragile rooms can happen on the morning itself. We plan the timing honestly when we see the job, because a rushed kitchen is where breakages come from.
Everything is labelled by room and contents as it is packed, heavy items kept in small boxes, and an essentials box set aside for the kettle, chargers and the first night. That labelling is what makes unpacking quick, whether you do it yourselves or have us empty the boxes and take the packaging away.
The materials are part of the service and they are proper ones, not begged supermarket boxes that collapse halfway down the stairs:
