How this site gets written, and by whom.

Who writes this site

Content is written and signed off by Sean Hamilton, who owns and runs Brewood Removals. This is a single-person editorial setup and we declare that openly: the author and the reviewer named on each page are the same person, because pretending to a separate editorial board would be exactly the kind of decoration this page exists to rule out. Sean answers every enquiry the site generates, so the advice and the service come from the same place.

Where the facts come from

Three kinds of material appear on this site, each with its own rule.

Jobs and stories. The named jobs on our service, area and advice pages are real moves this crew carried out, told with the family surname, the route and the month. We do not invent customers, anecdotes or "typical examples". Quotes attributed to families are what those customers actually said to us; they are kept separate from our Google reviews and are never dressed up as star ratings.

Reviews. Review scores and review text come verbatim from our public profiles, primarily Google. Every review we receive stays published, including the less-than-perfect ones; the reviews page shows all of them, and the single four-star sits there alongside the five-stars.

External facts. Claims that rest on someone else's authority are cited and linked at the foot of each article, to the primary source where one exists: GOV.UK, the British Association of Removers, the HomeOwners Alliance, the Self Storage Association UK, the PDSA and RSPCA among them. Every external link is checked live before a page ships.

How pages are produced

Drafting and technical assistance, including writing software, may be used while preparing a page. What is never delegated: the facts. Every job, figure, price and customer quote comes from Sean's own records, and every page is read, checked and approved by him before it goes live. Nothing publishes without that review.

Dates, reviews and update logs

Every content page shows a visible published date and a "last reviewed" date, and the reviewed date is the same value our structured data reports to search engines, so the two cannot disagree. We bump the reviewed date only on a substantive check or change, never to fake freshness. When an article is substantively revised (new sections, corrected facts, changed prices), the change is recorded in a visible update log on that page; typo fixes are not logged.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email info@brewoodremovals.co.uk with the page address. We investigate reports within 7 days and publish any needed correction within 14 days of confirming it, recorded in the page's update log where the change is substantive.

Privacy in the stories we tell

Customer jobs are told with family surname, road and town only, never a full address, and pet names get used because frankly they earn it. Where a customer is identifiable beyond that, or quoted by full name, it is with their consent or from a review they posted publicly themselves.

Our sister business

Sean also runs Lockerfella, a local locksmith service. Where this site recommends a lock change and links to Lockerfella, that connection is declared in the recommendation itself rather than disguised as an independent endorsement.
