Is the moving planner free?
Yes, completely free, with nothing to sign up for. Set your move date, tick your situation, and your plan builds itself.
Do you see my plan or store my data?
No. Your plan is saved only in your own browser on your own device. We never see it and nothing is sent to us, unless you choose to email your plan to yourself, which also lets us know you are planning a move so we can help if you want a quote.
Will my plan still be here when I come back?
Yes, as long as you return in the same browser on the same device and have not cleared your browsing data. If you want a copy that lasts, download it, print it or email it to yourself.
Can I get my plan on another device?
Yes. Download your plan to a file, then import that file on the other device and carry on where you left off. You can also email it to yourself or print it for moving day. The live plan itself lives only in the browser you built it in.
How far ahead should I start planning a move?
About eight weeks is ideal. That gives you time to declutter, get quotes and book a firm before the good dates go. If you have less time, the planner still works and points you to our short-notice guide.
What if my move date changes?
Just change the date at the top. Every stage re-dates itself and your ticked tasks stay ticked, so a slipped completion date is no drama.
Can you actually do the move for me?
